Accomplishments | Manchester Hope VI

Manchester was of the first neighborhoods in the nations to participate in the federal Hope IV program that was designed to replace obsolete public housing with functional mixed-income communities. As a result of this program, over 120 units of new or renovated housing were completed in Manchester from 1986 to 2004. The program was comprehensive in nature and provided funding for a case manager to coordinate social services.
